Jevišovka is a fairly big viticultural village by the confluence of the rivers Jevišovka and Dyje, close to the international border with Austria. Picturesque town Mikulov lies 15 km from Jevišovka in north-eastern direction. There is alsoa small town Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou located a few kilometres in western direction. The village is surrounded by vineyards, therefore there are many wine cellars to be found. By the left bank of the river Dyje spreads an old floodplain forest with wetlands. South from Jevišovka there is a railway track Znojmo-Mikulov. The village is also crossed by Moravian vineyard cycle path that connects to other paths, such as Czech-Austrian international cycle path, Amber pathway and Greenways Prague-Wien.
